Sinéad writes essays, prose poetry and fiction. She is particularly interested in exploring shame as something that is under-researched, debilitating and often unspeakable. She writes about Gaelic identity, land dispossession and cultural & language loss.
Her writing has been published in The Stinging Fly and The Mechanics’ Institute Review. She currently has a short film in pre-production with funding from Screen Scotland and BBC Alba.
She has an MA with Distinction in Creative & Critical Writing from Birkbeck College, University of London.
